Children’s Dignity Foundation (CDF)
“Education is a Right, Not a Privilege.”
Welcome to the
Children’s
Dignity
Foundation (CDF)
Since 1990 a group of dedicated humanitarians has been helping orphans and helpless and needy children in rural and remote areas in Pakistan by paying for their academic education, basic food and health care. During the course of involvement and self commitment to needy children, the said group of individuals witnessed a large number of under privileged families approaching them, seeking help for their children’s education.
At which point, the said group of compassionate citizens felt the need for integrating the sphere of their help to accommodate all the children from the deserving community. This is how the group of caring people chose to organize themselves in a registered body for building schools in rural and remote areas where children don’t have access to free education.
This group of dedicated individuals is now recognized as Children’s Dignity Foundation (CDF) which is a registered Not for Profit organization in Canada. The pioneer individuals that have founded and led to the establishment of CDF are: Mr. Riaz Hussain, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, and Mr. Hafiz Mohammad Iftikhar.
In the very beginning, CDF advanced its cause with a primary cum middle school; whereas, in 2001 the following schools were established to provide free education to children living in the vicinity of Chak No 363 G.B. which is located approximately 50km south of the city of Faisalabad, 72 km north of the city of Chiniot, 25 km from the city of Jaranwalla and 70 km from the city of Jhang, Pakistan.

CDF is playing an active role in stopping child abuse, physical and sexual, child neglect, child abandonment, and child labour thus protecting children’s dignity. CDF prevents child labour before it starts by offering meetings and educational sessions to the child’s parents at one end and by providing free education to the children at the other end. CDF’s mission is to deliver to the under privileged children not only the hope but also the pragmatic process for their successful and productive growth.
