Our Mission

Our Mission Statement

In the very beginning, CDF didn’t even have a formal space or a roof for the children while they learned from our teachers. In 1999, finally a roof was provided under which shelter the children were able to take their daily lessons. Over the years, we grew and streamline our efforts to establishing free formal schools. Today, we have established three schools, now government registered, which are providing free formal education to children in rural areas of Punjab, Pakistan.CDF aims to provide free education to children who cannot access or afford formal education. This is particularly crucial in rural areas of Pakistan where accessibility and affordability are huge barriers to education given their remote locations and the physical distance from schools offering formal education. While parents who are wealthy can afford to hire transportation to transport their kids to these distant schools, numerous children cannot afford these transportation services, and thus have no access to education. CDF fervently strives to facilitate these impoverished children’s access to education because we strongly believe that “Education is a Right, Not a Privilege” (as reflected in our motto).

CDF Middle School

In 1999, the small house of free education rose to prominence as a government registered middle school that accommodated approximately 280 students from village number 363 G.B, 364 G.B, 365 G.B, 366 G.B, Mouza Siyal, Sikander dian dharian and other villages across the union council in Tehsil Jaranwalla, district Faisalabad, Pakistan.

CDF Higher Secondary Schools

In 2005, upon the consistent demand and support of the local public, CDF middle school grew in the level of education from the middle school to two separate, independent higher secondary schools; one higher secondary school for girls and one higher secondary school for boys in accordance with the private school regulations set out by the Government of Pakistan. Both of the CDF higher secondary schools are registered and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan. In addition, CDF middle school (for boys and girls) is playing its role at its original place generating promising students for higher secondary schools.

The quality of education at CDF higher secondary schools

CDF teaching faculty comprises trained, licensed and experienced staff members. These teachers are qualified and certified by the University of Punjab Teacher’s Training Institute.

CDF higher secondary schools are, in reality, centres of excellence and stand among the top educational institutes in the province. Time and again, CDF brilliant students get distinctions in the entire Faisalabad Board of Education. In this regard, one of CDF’s shining students Shafqat s/o Salim has been recently honoured by the Chief Minister of the province of Punjab, Mian Shehbaz Sharif for his outstanding educational performance at the Intermediate Examination of the Education Board of Faisalabad, Pakistan.

At present, there are approximately 592 students benefiting from CDF educational facilities at no cost to the poor, orphan, heirless and deserving children and/or government.
